Mumford Metal Casting: A Solid History

Mumford Metal Casting’s history began 50 years ago with the founding of Colonial Brick in Chicago by Phil Mumford Sr. Joined by Phil Mumford Jr. in 2005, today the two are equal business partners in this privately-owned group that expanded into the foundry industry in 2011 with the acquisition of Expert Cores. The Mumford Company headquarters remains at the brickyard near downtown Chicago, Illinois. The Metal Casting Division is headquartered there as well, with multiple facility locations in the Midwest. Our rich history combined with our growth-oriented vision positions Mumford Metal Casting perfectly for the needs of today’s array of customer industries.
